Exciting to see our renderings featured in D Magazine‘s coverage of Phase One of Hillwood’s largest master planned community.
When a development like Landmark by Hillwood begins to take shape, strong visuals help bring clarity to the vision. These images and a brand film were created to support the marketing story early on, giving readers and future residents a clear sense of how homes, retail and natural landscapes will come together.

Hillwood Communities has broken ground near the Alliance area on its largest master-planned project yet: Landmark, a $10 billion, 3,200-acre development featuring 6,000 single-family homes, 3,000 multifamily units, and 900 acres of commercial space along I-35W.
Phase one will deliver 747 single-family lots (40–70 feet) and 600 multifamily units across 120 acres of retail and residential space. This marks the first joint effort between Hillwood Communities and Hillwood Properties. The home builders include Toll Brothers, Drees Homes, and David Weekley Homes.
Amenities will include a hilltop site, two STEAM learning parks, eight green spaces, and abundant outdoor areas, rather than large indoor facilities. Nature is a central theme, with landscaping inspired by the local sandstone and vegetation. Plans also feature a 300-acre park and entertainment district around Pilot Knob, Denton’s highest point at 830 feet.
